    Solar Installation Beings at Port of San Diego’s Cruise Ship Terminal

    The Port of San Diego is installing a 167-kilowatt photovoltaic system on the roof of its primary cruise ship terminal, which is expected to offset approximately 70 percent of the building’s energy consumption. The 630 panel system is also anticipated to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 187 metric tons annually.
